Spring has Sprung! + a freebie

I'm SO excited for spring to be here and for winter to be over! I wanted to brighten up our classroom and hallway with a cute spring art project, and found this adorable craft from A Cupcake for the Teacher!
I made the egg shells with various scrapbook papers I had, so each one turned out unique. The kiddos loved it. Teri makes the cutest crafts! <3

Since April is National Poetry Month, I wanted to add a poetry element to the project too, so I created this little couplet and worksheet to go with it:
Just click on the image above to get this, along with some variations for older kids, for free!

For a fun springtime math activity, I just posted my new Jelly Bean Math pack.
I've made a candy math packet for all of the holidays/seasons and my kids LOVE them.
The first 3 people who leave a comment with their e-mail address will get it for FREE! =)

ABC Mini-Books & a Freebie!

For Manic Monday this week, I have a cute St. Patrick's Day craftivity to share.
I had in mind what I wanted do with my kiddos, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I made my own and decided to share with all of you! Just click on the picture below to get it from my TpT store!
And I am SO excited to post about my newest TpT product, because it's been in the works for the past month. This is definitely the biggest project I've ever taken on (500+ pages!). Click on the picture below to go straight to it. Find the new SPANISH version here.
Mini emergent books - which are quickly becoming my favorite thing to create - are included for each letter of the alphabet. This project definitely fed into my clip art craze, as I had a good reason to buy even more! In fact, PayPal thought I was purchasing too much clip art online because it temporarily suspended my account, thinking it had been hacked! haha. Ah, the addictions of a teacher. :)

A quickie preview:
This pairs perfectly with my FREE My Book of ABCs I posted last week!

Back to School!

On my last official day of winter break, what do I do? Why, I went into my classroom to work of course! ha
Brand-new name tags, new seating arrangement, deep cleaning the (very) dirty tables, putting away the last of the holiday decorations, sharpening 1 million pencils... the list goes on. But I was VERY excited when I walked into my room and found this brand-new projector screen hung up in my room! Hooray, I've been requesting it for months!
I'm also all prepped for my very first craftivity of the year: torn-paper snowmen glyphs! I love doing these every winter, it's fun to see how all of the kids' snowmen turn out so unique. I'd used this chart previously with kinders, so I had to make a few tweaks with Post-Its.
And a teacher tip: I found these adorable owl things at the Dollar Tree this week. Funny, I found owl cut-outs similar to these at Learning Palace, but for four times the money!
Aaand here's my classroom, all ready to go!
